Desi twist to a continental dish. This Dosa Waffle is made with Prolicious millet dosa premix which serves as a tasty high protein treat for your taste buds and helps you meet your protein goals. A protein packed breakfast, which is quick & very easy to make.

Ingredients

For Waffle
  • Prolicious 2X Protein Millet dosa premix 50gm or 1/3 cup
  • Onion, finely chopped ¼ cup or 25gm
  • Carrots, finely chopped ¼ cup or 25gm
  • Chopped Chillis 1 nos
  • Chopped coriander ½ cup or 50g
  • Black pepper 1tsp
  • Oil to grease the waffle maker
  •  

     

     

    Instructions

    • Add 1cup of water until a batter of thick consistency is formed.
    • Add chopped onion, green chilies, cilantro, carrots, and black pepper.
    • Preheat the waffle maker for 5 mins. then add oil to it, and add the prepared batter with veggies into the waffle maker.
    • Once done the waffles will be golden brown in color with crisp edges. It will take around 5-6 minutes.
    • Remove the savory Dosa waffles on a plate and serve it with coconut chutney/ cilantro chutney/ mint chutney. Enjoy.

     

    Tips Tricks & Facts

    • For making the batter, make sure to stir well to prevent lumps in the batter.
    • Can also include other veggies of choice like spinach, beetroot, capsicum, sweet corn, etc.
    • To re-heat, pop these waffles in a toasted. You can also re-heat in air fryer at 300 F for 10 minutes or in the oven at 350 F for 10 minutes.
    • Add salt to the batter only if your dosa batter doesn’t have salt in it.
    • The spice level in the recipe can be adjusted to taste. Add more green chilies or red chili powder for spicier waffles. You can even add turmeric to these waffles if you want.
