Method of Preparation
- Boil the potatoes until soft, peel them, and mash well in a mixing bowl.
- Add chopped onion, coriander, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, and Up It! to the mashed potatoes.
- Mix thoroughly to form a smooth dough-like mixture. If too dry, sprinkle little water. Shape into equal-sized round tikkis (patties).
- Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Place the tikkis and shallow fry on medium flame until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Drizzle lemon juice and sprinkle fresh coriander. Serve hot with green chutney or yogurt dip.
