The phrase "pasta with garlic and oil" is known as pasta Aglio e olio. Little else is present in the traditional dish save these components. Even these are optional; it might be topped with a dusting of parsley or a dash of red pepper flakes. This traditional Italian pasta is made with Prolicious high protein pasta, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in its most basic form. making it delicious and nutritious.

Ingredients

For Pasta
  • Prolicious 2X Protein Penne / Macaroni Pasta ½ cup or 100 grams

  • Garlic 1 tsp or 15 grams 

  • Parsley 1 tbsp or 15 grams 

  • Chili flakes 1 tsp or 5 grams 

  • Oil 1 tsp or 5 grams 

  • Cheese 1 tsp or 5 grams 

  • Pasta water ½ cup or 100ml 

  • Olives 1 tsp or 5 grams 

     

Instructions

For Preparation for Pasta

  • Add the Prolicious Pasta and cook it for 12 mins till the al dente texture. 

  • Add some salt to 4 cups of water and bring it to boil.  

  • Depending on your taste preferences, you can even cook them till they are completely done 

  • Drain the Prolicious pasta, toss it with a little olive oil (so that it doesn’t stick together) and let it cool to room temp

For Combining the sauce and pasta

  • Heat the olive oil in a pan add garlic, chili flakes, Parsley leaves and salt, cook it or 2 min or until aromatic 

  • Add ½ cup pasta water and let it simmer for a minute with all the ingredients 

  • Now add your pasta and stir it well till the cheese melts and combines well. 

  • Top it with some grated cheese (if required) and serve hot.
