This healthy ladoo recipe is made with Prolicious Millet Vermicelli that has double the protein of regular vermicelli. Made with healthy ingredients like jaggery, ghee, and nuts, this is a guilt-free dessert.

Ingredients
1 Cup Prolicious Millet Vermicelli
½ cup Jaggery Powder
1/4 Cup Water
2 Tbsp. Ghee
½ Tsp Salt
1 Tsp. Cardamom powder
2 tbsp almonds (crushed)
2 tbsp cashews (crushed)
3 Dates
2 tbsp milk
3-4 strands of kesar
Instructions for making the ladoo
- In a small bowl, add 2 tbsp milk & kesar strands and keep it aside.
- In a non-stick kadai, heat 2 tbsp ghee and add Prolicious Millet Vermicelli and roast it until golden brown.
- Next add ¼ cup water & cook the vermicelli. Next add ¼ cup of jaggery powder.
- Mix well for 2-3 min on a medium flame until the vermicelli starts to caramelize.
- Next add cardamom powder, pinch of salt and kesar milk (prepared at the start).
- Add the crushed almonds, cashews and dates.
- Mix everything until the mixture starts to combine and starts leaving the sides of the kadai.
- Switch off the flame, add some ghee and allow the mixture to cool.
- Take small portions and roll out small laddus. Add a cashew or any of your favorite topping at the center.
And that's all! Your delicious high protein ladoos are ready. You can enjoy them guilt free as they contain no refined sugar, no maida, no trans fat. The natural ingredients like cashews, almonds, and milk are high in protein, while dates are a great source of fibre.
