The word “halwa” derived from Arabic term meaning “sweet”, has long been enjoyed during special occasions, festivals or for a special meal at home. What sets this delicacy apart is that it is crafted from gluten free flour and substitution of jaggery powder for refined sugar. It offers the same comforting, delicious sensation that makes halwa the most beloved dessert.
